Support Workers (Outreach)

Full time/Part time

 

We currently have vacancies for dynamic and caring individuals to work as Support Workers in our Outreach Team.  You'll need to have your own vehicle for this role (car, pushbike or motorbike) and we keep travel time between calls to an absolute minimum and we pay 31p per mile for motor vehicles.

 

You will be providing community-based social care and support to people with a wide range of needs, including people with a learning disability, people with alcohol dependency, people with mental health needs and people on the autistic spectrum. Your role will be to enable service users to lead fulfilling lives with the maximum of independence; both in their home and in the wider community.

 

Support can include help with accessing social and leisure activities, support with developing daily living skills and maintaining tenancies, accessing healthcare, support with personal care, support with budgeting, attending appointments or filling in forms etc.
