Working as a Community Support Worker at JRH Support is not like any other job. Every day is different and brings with it probably the most rewarding work you will ever do.
One thing’s for certain - you’ll never be bored! Whether it’s supporting someone with mental health problems to build up the courage to visit a local café, enabling someone with a learning disability to get out and enjoy life, or supporting an older person to get up in the morning and have some breakfast, you’re going to be a very important part of people’s lives.
We don’t look for any specific qualifications or experience from new Community Support Workers as it’s your personality that’s the important thing. The only thing we do ask is that as well as working throughout the week, you’re available to work some hours one weekend in every three.
