Service Manger - Community Support

37.5 hrs per week

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a creative, driven leader who is self-motivated and will whole-heartedly embody the core values of our organisation.

 

As the Community Support Service Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the management and growth of both our Outreach service and Care at Home service, ensuring high standards of quality are maintained throughout the services and a culture of continual improvement and development is sustained.

 

You will lead, manage, and develop a team of 5 experienced Area Managers, ensuring they feel well supported and motivated.

 

We want you to be actively involved in developing new initiatives in our care practices and to help shape and grow our services, particularly our privately funded services; and you’ll work closely with the General Manager and other senior leaders to make a real difference.

 

You will develop and grow our business especially in the private sector and will be accountable for the performance of the business unit.

 

Experience

  • Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience of managing and leading a team in the care sector

Supported Living Team Manager - Clifton

Full time

We’re looking to recruit someone with experience in social care to become Team Manager at a supported living project in Clifton, where 3 people with a learning disability share a house together.

We pride ourselves on being a person centred organisation and we’re a very supportive employer. The JRH Support core values are really important to us so you’ll need to ensure you embrace them in everything you do, and to always lead by example.

This great opportunity will involve leading a small team of support workers and overseeing the day to day running of the project. We have a fantastic team here and you’ll feel well supported in a friendly environment that offers you the opportunity to develop your skills and feel a sense of personal achievement.

You’ll be required to work by rota, including some weekends, and your working week will be a combination of admin hours and support hours.

Full time

The individuals need support to get the most out of life, both at home and in the wider community.

 

Support can include help with accessing social and leisure activities, support with developing daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning and shopping, and maintaining their individual tenancies, accessing healthcare, support with personal care and support with budgeting.

 

Shifts require a degree of flexibility as you will need to be able to work early mornings and late into the evening. You may also be required to work a paid sleep-in or waking night shift at the property.

Full time

We currently have a full time support worker vacancy at a supported living property on Oakdale Rd in Bakersfield.

 

You will be part of a small team that delivers community based social care and support to 5 adults with a learning disability who share a house together.

 

You will be expected to work some weekends and approximately 1 paid sleep in per week.

 

Your role will be to support these individuals to lead fulfilling lives with the maximum of independence, both in their home and in the wider community.

Reviewing Officer

37.5 hours per week

We're looking to recruit a full-time Reviewing Officers for our Community Support service. 

Main Responsibilities

  • Arrange reviews and review support plans within the allocated time period

  • Ensure support plan outcomes are reviewed and updated

  • Ensure risk assessments are reviewed and updated

  • Maintain effective recording systems using the Company software

  • Perform medication administration checks and finance checks to ensure they are completed correctly by support staff.

  • Perform visit feedback checks to ensure they are completed correctly by support staff.

  • Promote and ensure the good reputation of the Company.

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Ability to be generally computer literate and willing to learn how to use the company’s software program.

  • Excellent organisational skills

Day Centre Support Worker - Arnold & Netherfield

9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday

We currently have a vacancy for someone to support a gentleman with a learning disability at his day service. 

 

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has children of school age as the hours are 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday.

 

You will support the gentleman to take part in activities and day trips, to have his lunch and also with personal care.  He attends a day service in Netherfield on Monday and Tuesday and another in Arnold on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

 

We’re looking for a ‘people person’ who is patient and caring and who also has good communication skills, because the gentleman is not able to speak.  This role will suit someone who is an existing carer as we are ideally looking for someone who already has training in using a hoist.

Full time/Part time

We have a very exciting opportunity to support a lady in the Arnold area of Nottingham.

 

We are looking for person-centred support workers who have an excellent sense of humour and excellent communication skills. 

 

You will be responsible for supporting the individual with all aspects including personal care, support with dietary requirements, Some cleaning tasks and companionship.

 

The role will involve working long days and both part-time and full-time hours are available which cover both weekdays and weekends so some flexibility is essential.

 

A full UK driving license would be advantageous to this role.
